Atlas

Privacy Policy

How ATLAS and the organizers who use it handle your information.
TO BE CONFIRMED — publication date and legal entity.

1. Who holds your data

ATLAS is a platform used by venues, promoters and event organizers to run events, sell tickets, manage doors and understand their audiences.

When you buy a ticket or attend an event you are dealing with two organisations: the organizer whose event it is, and ATLAS, which provides the software they use.

Your record with one organizer is separate from your record with another. Being known to one venue does not make you known to the next — unless you explicitly allow it (see Your choices).

2. What we collect from you

When you book, buy a ticket or RSVP. Your name, email address, phone number, what you selected, and the amounts paid.

Your card details never reach our servers. They go directly from your browser to our payment processor. We hold the amount, a reference, and whether the payment succeeded.

When you attend. That your ticket was scanned at the door, and when. If you are part of a group booking, we record that you arrived — not merely that the booking did.

When you connect an account. If you choose to connect a music or social account, we receive only what that service’s permissions allow, and only while the connection is granted.

When you upload a photo to an event gallery, we hold the photo.

3. What we work out about you

We build a picture of what you enjoy, so organizers can put on nights you would actually want and so you can hear about them. That picture is assembled from what you have done — events attended, tickets bought, accounts connected.

Three commitments about that, which our software enforces:

4. Your choices

We ask separately for separate things, record each answer with the date, and you can change any of them.

ChoiceWhat it means if you say yes
Recognise meThe organizer can attach what you tell them to your record with that venue
Learn what I likeWe use your activity to build the picture above
Send me offersMarketing messages from that organizer
Send me event updatesCancellations, time changes, door information
Aggregate analyticsYou are counted in totals, never named
Sharing across venuesYour record can be recognised at other venues on ATLAS

Offers and event updates are separate. Declining marketing does not stop us telling you an event has been cancelled.

Sharing across venues is the only choice that sends anything beyond the venue you are dealing with. Everything else stays with that organizer.

Declining any of these does not deny you a ticket.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information.

TO BE CONFIRMED — the published list of service providers.

6. What we deliberately do not do

These are enforced in our software, not merely intended:

7. How long we keep it

TO BE CONFIRMED — retention periods have not been set. This section will state either specific periods or that information is held until erasure is requested. It will not claim a schedule that does not exist.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to delete your information, and to tell you what we hold.

TO BE CONFIRMED — the full statement of rights per jurisdiction, and how to exercise them.

9. Security

We protect your information with encrypted transmission, hashed passwords, strict separation between organizers’ data, and signature verification on incoming data from payment and point-of-sale systems. No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise.

10. Children, transfers, changes and contact

TO BE CONFIRMED — minimum age, where data is processed, how changes are notified, and the contact address for privacy enquiries.
